We have created a detached villa with floor to ceiling windows (over 50% of the actual house is finished in glass) offering superb views from every level and area inside the house. There is an open plan living/dining room with mezzanine and one bedroom including bathroom downstairs. On the first floor you will get another bedroom, a bathroom and the master bedroom. This house is built on a slope so we created in the garden a few terraces, all on different levels including a private swimming pool. Obviously this can also be adapted to be constructed on a flat plot of land.
